Student Government Association 

The American Medical Student Association (AMSA), with a half-century history of medical student activism, is the oldest and largest independent association of physicians-in-training in the United States. AMSA is a student-governed, national organization committed to representing the concerns of physicians-in-training. When you join AMSA, student idealism is transformed into meaningful public service and medical school experience. At AMSA SJSM, we facilitate social involvement between students and the Bonaire community through volunteerism and community service. We prioritize the importance of USMLE preparation by providing our members with Kaplan benefits and the opportunity to expand their medical knowledge from beyond the classroom. Above all, AMSA SJSM aims to create an relaxing and supportive environment for students to enjoy and succeed in their medical school experience.
